Yoga Could be Your Hidden Health Gem

Yoga

Yoga might just be what you have always been looking for when it comes to your physical and mental health.

Many people think yoga is that thing you do for flexibility and it’s not a real workout. Not true. Yoga isn’t really about flexibility, truly. Our suggestion here at Your Healthy Hustle is to learn a bit about what Yoga is all about, what the benefits are and THEN make an EDUCATED decision on whether or not to try a class.

The benefits are vast:

The health benefits of yoga include control of diabetes, control of hypertension, a stronger heart, reduced back pain, relief from osteoarthritis, improvement in gastric conditions, control of asthma and bronchitis, and weight loss in a healthy way. Yoga is a proven science that traces its origin back thousands of years and is comprised of theories and observations, which have been proven by modern science. – Organic Facts

And one of the benefits specifically ALL humans should be especially aware of and take notice of:

Detoxification

Yoga ensures gentle stretching of muscles and joints, along with the comprehensive workout of various internal organs, which in turn improves the optimum blood supply. A healthy blood flow is essential in flushing out the toxins and providing nourishment to every cell in the body for a zestful life. Yoga can slacken the pace of aging and ensure vitality.

So why not read about what Yoga is all about and take a chance. Your body and mind will be grateful.

Try a challenge to yourself. Look at a time frame that would make sense for you: 7 days, 10 days, 30 days. Yoga every day. Challenge yourself to find a class, practice at home, practice with a friend or loved one, check out YouTube videos….anything! Just practice each day for that time frame you set for yourself and reflect on how you feel after.
